The Fountain Creek Brass Band is a traditional British-style brass band based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. We perform regular concerts around the Colorado Springs and South Denver areas, promoting the development and continuation of music in educational settings and the community. The Fountain Creek Brass Band was established as a non-profit organization in 1998.

Frank Hilligas, Norlynn Nelson, Mark Baker, Debbie Baker, Rebecca Gillespie, Bob North, Jeremiah Fowler, Carl Chevallard, Anthony Ebert, and Andy King were members of the 2009 summer edition of the The Colorado Brass Band workshop held in Gunnison, June 22-26. This summer's workshop marks the 35th anniversary of the band's founding. The 45 piece ensemble performs a concert on Friday, June 26th at 7:00 PM at the band shell behind Quigley Hall on the Western State College campus. Among the numbers on this program is Kincaid's Rhapsodie, written by Paul Curnow, which commemorates the many contributions of Prof. John Kincaid, a founding member of the Colorado Brass Band and long time bandmaster of the Western State College band program in Gunnison. Frank Hilligas (Eb Tenor Horn) and Ritchie Clendenin (Eb Cornet) will be featured on Albinoni's Adagio. (More about the Adagio.)
