The Fountain Creek Brass Band is a traditional British-style brass band based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. We perform regular concerts around the Colorado Springs and South Denver areas, promoting the development and continuation of music in educational settings and the community. The Fountain Creek Brass Band was established as a non-profit organization in 1998.

Frank Hilligas, Norlynn Nelson, Rick Tiller, Rebecca Gillespie, Bob North, and Jeremiah Fowler, performed as a part of the 2008 Colorado Brass Band's summer workshop from June 23-27. A concert was given on Friday evening on the Western State College campus The band, directed by Steven Asheim, was comprised of members from eight different USA brass bands including members of the Rocky Mountain Brassworks and FCBB. The concert featured The Land of the Long White Cloud, a test piece by Phillp Sparke, depicting the Maori migration to New Zealand, Buglers Holiday performed by a tuba trio, Disney Spectacular by Goff Richards, and a euphonium solo by Francis Laws on the classic Puccini theme from the opera Turandot, Nessun Dorma. Bob North's arrangement of The Whistler and Her Dog featured Deirdre Fotescu who recently retired from the woodwind faculty at Western State and has performed the piccolo solo on Stars and Stripes Forever for many years with the band.
